March 6 – March 12, 2018
4 Times Square, New York

SPRING/BREAK Art Show, an annual experimental exhibition for independent curators to exhibit works by emerging and mid-career artists, has announced its seventh edition. The show will take place in Manhattan from March 6th to March 12, the same week as the Armory Show. This year’s edition of SPRING/BREAK is themed “Stranger Comes to Town,” based off the following proverb: “There are only two stories: a hero goes on a journey; a stranger comes to town.” The works exhibited will explore “foreign-ness, migration, assimilation, and the alchemy of the Other through territory, technology, and time.” For highlights from SPRING/BREAK 2017, click HERE.
