Following the success of the recent TimesTalks Festival, the program of live performances and conversations has announced its next event, this time hosting Pussy Riot‘s Nadya Tolokonnikova and performance artist Marina Abramovich. The two will appear in conversation (moderated by New York Times contributor Melena Ryzik) to discuss the political aims of performance, the intersection of activism and feminism and the role of the artist in modern society.
If you can’t make it, the talk will also be live-streamed on the TimesTalks website and Youtube Channel at 7pm EST on May 14th, 2018. Past talks, also available online, have been with iconic thinkers and creatives including Margaret Atwood, Grace Jones, Katie Couric Tom Ford and Ai Weiwei.
