VÉRONIQUE LEROY – PARIS F/W 2012 FASHION SHOW
Véronique Leroy is a master of all things volume and oversized, channeling that into her Fall 2012 collection to create a wardrobe made for a rebellious girl trying to become a productive member of society. To Leroy, this means mixing elegant, maternal clothing, with the young girls punk sensibilities and spirit. This can clearly be seen in the skirt suit silhouettes paired with platform wedge combat boots and silver floral necklaces and cuffs. The silhouette was boxy and vaguely sixties, done in heavy, winter fabrics and trompe l’oeil fake furs ranging from completely black to delicate pastels.
