ALEXIS MABILLE – PARIS F/W 2012 FASHION SHOW
The Fall 2012 collection of Alexis Mabille was all things bow tie. The collection, appropriately titled “Let Me Be Bo-Bow,” featured bow tie prints, embroideries, earring, and shoes, all commemorating the neckwear that put Mabille on the map at fashion houses like Dior and YSL. Mabille designed the collection with Paris’ ninth arrondissement bourgeois bohemians in mind. He wanted to create a collection for those young professionals that would mix day and night clothes; shirts and skirts with sheer, tulle overlays and hoodies under smoking jackets, for example.
