BACKSTAGE AT THE CHRISTIAN COWAN x POWERPUFF GIRLS RUNWAY IN CELEBRATION OF WOMEN’S DAY

“A fashion collaboration in celebration of girl power.”

On March 8th, 2019 we celebrated International Woman’s Day. That same day, Christian Cowan unveiled his fashion collaboration collection with The Powerpuff Girls; a celebration in Los Angeles with powerful women in the front rows ( Heidi Klum, Skai Jackson) as well as in the runway (Paris Hilton, Salem Mitchell).

“When I was growing up, I watched the show all the time. I probably watched hundreds of episodes,” he told Vogue. “I loved these girls that didn’t need saving; they were saving everyone else.”

The celebration took place in an old warehouse at The City Market Social House; the collection a unison between the PPG primary colors: baby blue, blush pink and pistachio green, and Cowan’s joyous party girl. The result? A glorious squad of mighty femmes sporting soft, feminine, avant-garde.
