Originally from Turkey, Bora Aksu has been based in London now for the past 15 years. “My signature style is based upon finding the balance point between contrasts. It’s romantic with a darker twist” he said in an interview. With the first 11 models appearing in soft cream, and the final 15 in midnight blue the only additional colour in this collection comes from a handful of pieces that marry the two sides in shades of orange and aquamarine. A thorough and deliberate collection; the pieces are covered in complex detailing, with panels lined in coloured edging, sheer fabric strips, mass ruffled skirts, layered pleating, fabric roses and woven rope effect appliqué.
