The Brooklyn Artists Ball, the annual fundraising gala at the Brooklyn Museum, will host an immersive David Bowie-themed dinner and dance party celebrating the creative community and “David Bowie is,” the museum’s buzzy exhibit on view until July 15th. The event’s dress code, decor and installations will pay homage to the glitz and glamour of late musical pioneer David Bowie. The post-dinner dance party will feature performances by surprise special guests, to be announced.
This year’s honorees Robert Gober and Donald Moffett will be celebrated by a who’s who of the art, philanthropy, business and music worlds as well as Brooklyn Museum Director Anne Pasternak and Event Chairs Sarah Arison, Stephanie Ingrassia, and Carla Shen.
