K11 – PARIS F/W 2012 FASHION EVENT
K11 is an organization that promotes young talents working in art and culture, giving them an opportunity to share their work on an international stage. Following last year’s success, K11 once again presented their “Paris, Bonjour!” show in Le Pavillon Vendome. This year’s theme, “Lightness of Being,” was inspired by Milan Kundrea’s deeply philosophical novel The Unbearable Lightness of Being. Xiao Yu and Huishan Zhang were the two designers chosen by K11 to be showcased this year. Their couture pieces were accessorized with jewelry designed by Chow Tai Fook and presented side by side with other pieces of artwork from up and coming artists in dance, music, photography, and new media.
