Sculpture Center honored artist Fred Wilson and curator Susanne Ghez at the 2013 SculptureCenter Benefit Gala. Top names in art celebrated the accomplishments of Wilson and Ghez at the historic Edison Ballroom, with remarks given by SculptureCenter Director Mary Ceruti and artist Dahn Vo.
The 2013 SculptureCenter Annual Benefit Gala featured a performance by Korakrit Arunanondchai, painting with history in a room filled with men with funny names 2, and onsite sculptural work by Anicka Yi, 2NE1. New limited edition works by artists Michael DeLucia, Nikolas Gambaroff, and Valerie Snobeck were introduced during the Benefit.
Guests enjoyed cocktails and dinner in the iconic Art Deco ballroom, followed by the Karaoke Afterparty with nail designs inspired by SculptureCenter at the Vanity Projects pop-up salon.
