TRAINS
Night Gallery
August 23rd – September 27th, 2014

German-born artist Sterling Ruby will curate his second show this year, TRAINS, at Night Gallery in Los Angeles, CA. Opening August 23, the show contains a mix of photographs and sculpture, including work by world-renown artists Nobuyoshi Araki, Sarah Conaway, Thea Djordjadze, Erik Frydenborg, Piero Golia, and many more. The exhibition will be laid out in lines – a “train” formation – and hung in sequences breaking chronology. As stated by Sterling Ruby, key concepts of the exhibition include motive power, the underground, images linked by the observer, when and where events occur when you are not present, and the locomotive. With a great collection of artists and a unique presentation, TRAINS is a show not to miss.
