Singer and Untitled Mag cover girl, Banks, recently announced that the follow-up album to her 2014 debut album, “Goddess,” will be released on September 30th. Until then Banks fans can get a dose of the singer by listening to her latest single, “Fuck With Myself” which was premiered by record producer Zane Lowe as his Beats 1 “World Record.” On “Fuck With Myself” Banks’ message is loud and clear: “So I fuck with myself more than anybody else,” she sings in a voice that’s been alternately compared to other singers like Fiona Apple, Erykah Badu, and Kate Bush. In her interview with The Untitled Magazine for the #GirlPower Issue, Banks touches on how powerhouse, Fiona Apple, is also one of her inspirations. The catchy lyrics and heavy message of her new track are bound to be a hit on the charts.
“This song is about being your own best friend, your own mother and your own lover.” –Banks

With the song, Banks also premieres a chilling music video. The video opens with contortionist dancers crawling out of boxes and the singer coddling a rubber headpiece of herself. The image of her singing to the bald, bust sculpture with discombobulated dancers in the background in an isolated room, leaves a different definition of “fucking with yourself.”
