October 17 – December 21, 2016

Beginning October 17th, Almine Rech Gallery will present “A Different Kind of Woman,” an exhibition of work by Tom Wesselmann. The show is inspired by the artist’s 1970 showing at Sidney Janis Gallery in New York and will include Bedroom Tit Box, a key piece from the NYC exhibition.

The show at Almine Rech will also include Wesselmann’s post-collage work, making “A Different Kind of Woman” the biggest presentation of the artist in Paris since his 1994 retrospective at the Fondation Cartier and his 1967 show at Illeana Sonnabend Gallery.
